Travel:

Day 1, Arrival in Marrakech:

Welcome at Marrakech airport, we will pick you up in a private vehicle upon arrival and go directly to your chosen accommodation. Free time to get to know this beautiful city, also known as the “Red City” due to the reddish tone that all its buildings have. You can take a walk through its famous Jmaa el Fna Square; This square is the center of the life of the city and the Medina, from which numerous and labyrinthine alleys of the Souk begin. Also around the square there are numerous terraces and restaurants to have a tea or something to eat. It is essential to go up to one of the terraces in the square, to contemplate the life of the square from above and its incredible sunset while enjoying an aperitif.

Day 2, The adventure begins and arrival at the dunes:

We will leave towards the south, to cross the High Atlas through the Tichka Pass (2,260 meters). During the tour we will be able to observe the majestic mountains that give shape to this imposing mountain range and the Berber villages that make up its slopes. We will arrive at the Draa Valley, which has the largest palm grove in all of Morocco and one of the most beautiful, full of vegetation thanks to the Draa River, which nourishes it, turning it into a spectacular Oasis. In the afternoon we will arrive at the dune area of Zagora. We will take a camel tour. Tonight, we will live a totally magical moment, we will sleep in haimas in the middle of the desert, under the light of the stars enjoying absolute silence.

Day 3, Berber villages and caravan route:

After spending the night in the desert and observing its beautiful sunrise, we will leave the dunes behind to continue the trip through a semi-desert area. We will go to the town of Tamgraoute, we will visit its Koranic Library and its beautiful and authentic Ksar, an Arabic term for “castles” or “palaces”. We will enter the Draa Valley and visit its Kasbah Tamnnougalt, an ancient Berber fortification through which caravans passed on their way to Marrakech. dating back to the 16th century. In the afternoon we will arrive at the city of Ouarzazate.

Day 4, Ait Ben Haddou and High Atlas:

Before saying goodbye to the city, we will visit the Taourirt Kasbah with an official guide, one of the best preserved Berber fortresses in the country. We will make another stop to visit Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified city declared a World Heritage Site. If the weather conditions are good, we can make the journey through the Oumnila Valley to reach its Kasbah Telouet. In the afternoon we will arrive in Marrakech where we will have the day free.

Day 5, Visit and enjoy Marrakech:

In the morning, an official guide of the city of Marrakech will pick us up at our accommodation to visit its main monuments: Bahia Palace, La Koutoubia, Jemaa el-Fna Square, and the Souks. In the afternoon we will have free time to continue enjoying this wonderful city.

Day 6, Marrakech and end of your stay:

Free time until time to go to the airport, transfer there and end of our services.

Day 2, The adventure begins:

The adventure begins, we set off heading south to cross the High Atlas through the Tichka Pass, at 2260 meters high. During the tour we will be able to observe the majestic mountains that give shape to this imposing mountain range and the Berber villages that make up its slopes. We will cross the Skoura Palm Grove, one of the largest in Morocco, and make a stop to visit its famous Kasbah Amridil, the most beautiful and best preserved. Later we will cross the entire Route of a Thousand Kasbahs or the so-called “Route of the Fortresses”, and its numerous typical towns. In the afternoon we will arrive at our destination in Boumalne Dades.

Day 3, Thousand Kasbahs Route and arrival at the Dunes:

On today’s tour, we will go to the impressive Todra Gorges, recognized worldwide for being one of the most spectacular rock canyons. We will make a stop to visit Ksar El Khorbat, a beautiful fortified town that has been recently rehabilitated. Optionally you can visit the “Oasis Museum”. Later, we will arrive in Merzouga, where the Erg Chebbi dunes are located (the largest and most impressive in all of Morocco). There, we can admire the immensity of the desert taking a camel tour and observe its fantastic sunset. Tonight we will live a totally magical moment, we will sleep in haimas in the middle of the desert, under the light of the stars, enjoying the absolute silence.

Day 4, Berber villages and caravan route:

After spending the night in the desert and observing its beautiful sunrise, we will leave the dunes behind to continue the trip through a semi-desert area. But first, we will make a stop to visit Rissani, a city with the most authentic market in Morocco. We will visit small Berber villages and arrive at the Draa Valley, whose river is the longest in Morocco. Here we will enter its beautiful palm grove, making a stop to visit the Kasbah Tamnougalt, an ancient fortress where the caravans passed through on their way to Marrakech. In the afternoon we will arrive at the city of Ouarzazate.

Day 5, Ait Ben Haddou and High Atlas:
